“No disabled parking unless you pay an extra £30 night for valet parking. Poor service ordering hot food at breakfast, not enough staff taking orders. Restaurant not clean, skirting areas dusty and walls marked. Cost of room per night not reflected in the quality of service generally. A smile and a pleasant welcome costs nothing - but mostly lacking in staff. Disappointed.”

“When I booked for myself and grandson six ,I wasn't made aware that our "hotel room" was just a block of rooms at the bottom of a road near the entrance. These were unmanned and the key had to be collected from the main reception. This is no easy fete when there's a very steep long hill to walk up to reception. I was told our room was ready,we went down to it,expecting staff to meet us. None were there. So I and my little grandson had to walk back up to reception with a suitcase and rucksacks……

“Considering this was supposed to be a 4 star Radisson hotel, we were bitterley disappointed, the bed had springs that dug into your back, the sink in the bathroom was chipped and cracked, food overpriced, the sash window wouldnt open, water marks on the wall as well as a large crack down the wall, very very poor, the pool is always laned off and you have to wear a swim cap, not thequality id expect, we left after one night”

“The welcome on arrival was very friendly, helpful and efficient. My luggage was taken to and from my room, which is great. All the staff were very friendly. Meals were lovely, just too much for my appetite. Enjoyed walking and sitting in the grounds too.”

“This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. The two small bath towels and one hand towel provided were frayed. The menu is very basic in the pub. I had a pizza that was inedible as it tasted mouldy and looked horrible. We checked out after one night having booked and paid for 3 nights. The building has an unkempt vibe. The car park is very small and……

“On our arrival we were met by the delightful owner who made us feel very welcome. She was also a source of information which proved extremely beneficial. Our room was part of the converted stable block which was fine apart from the small windows which made the room dark and claustrophobic. Had we stayed longer then I would of asked to be moved. The bathroom was impressive which consisted of both shower and slipper bath. Food good served by young staff who looked after all our needs really……

“We were told the property will be closing in September for a complete refurb. Let's just say it needs it! We wouldn't stay there again in it's present condition.”

“The room was very dirty and dusty with stains on the bedsheets. There was no instructions to bring your own towels online and then no information sheets in the rooms. I rung the number for help and she was very condescending saying that there was an information sheet in my room that would “answer all my questions” despite her supposedly being there if we needed any help and there was infact NO information sheet in our room. The shower drain was also leaking so we had to use our towels to soak it……

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints”
